Position Description Directs, plans, coordinates and supervises the operation and activities of a specialized unit or small department; develops and implements policies and procedures, administers the budget, organizes tasks and sets priorities. Serves as liaison with university personnel and community at large. Works under general supervision with broad latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
Assists with the development and implementation of dual degree programs; work with other academic institutions; develop articulation agreements, and advertise degrees.
Develop MPH & DrPH/PhD degrees including managing the process, working with faculty on curriculum development, working with the appropriate accrediting bodies.
Collaborates with representatives from internal and external resources to achieve full programmatic implementation.
Assists with program coordination including curriculum development, program assessment, arranging practicum/internship experiences with local and regional partners.
Assists with the direction, development and implementation of the MPH Program and all related educational activities.
Occasional Duties Position will work on both Abilene and Lubbock TTUHSC Campus
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related area required plus five years progressively responsible management experience. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications Master degree in public health, education, curriculum development, public administration, business or related field. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of University personnel. Ability to maintain a good working with staff, students, and faculty. Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Minimum Hire Rate 4413.92
Pay Statement Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan on the Human Resources webpage.
