Essential Duties and Responsibilities Attendance and punctuality are requirements for this position; other duties may be assigned. Provides a neutral party in disputes between management and employees. Operate and travel by automobile to various client locations. Overnight travel is required on occasion. Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Recruits, interview, tests and selects employees to fill vacant positions as required by client. Plans and conducts new employee orientation and or client enrollments. Keeps personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting. Responsible for the production of handbooks and any other required documentation for assigned clients. Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and client programs. Maintains files for assigned clients. Insures files are kept accurate and up to date. All incoming documents will be scanned and filed accordingly and promptly. Trains client management and supervisors in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, and performance reviews Provide training assessment and or Professional Development Training for assigned clients. Advises client management and or supervisors in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Provide objective and accurate advice to both management and employees regardless of in whose favor it may be. Maintain a current monthly work schedule to include the location where their work is to be performed and the subject matter of the work. This position requires organization and attention to details. Applicant must be able to identify and prioritize duties.
