MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED, and any of the following: two years AR/AP; two years administrative assistant; or two years clerical experience required. Administrative experience working with oil and gas management, geology, oil and gas land work or related field preferred. Ability to work and set priorities with limited supervision, have a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and work with decimals and fractions. Professional communication skills required. Familiarity with oil and gas lease maps, division orders, leases, and Railroad Commission reports is helpful. Knowledge of, Word, Excel, and typing skills required. Ability to work in fast-paced, high volume environment is necessary. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for assisting Oil, Gas and Mineral Manager on a daily basis. Responsible for research of internal files and external sources to resolve problems related to customer s accurate and timely mineral revenue receipt. Must show initiative, creativity and persistence to resolve problems promptly. Required to work closely with oil operator and purchasers on behalf of customers and to cultivate ongoing, effective professional relationships. Provide reports to manager, administrators and customers as needed. Assist with opening new accounts and closing terminated accounts as needed. Provide Railroad Commission research and back-up assistance for account maintenance. Failure to perform duties accurately and timely could result in errors in accounts with possible loss of income to the account and to the Trust Company. Results of work are reviewed. Physical effort required is average. Must actively participate in Customer Service First sales and service culture, support the values of the organization and follow established company policies and procedures.
